"After a 12 hour trip from Stromboli due to rough seas we were worried we would not be able to check in as we would not attive till gone midnight. On contacting Lorenzo he said this was not a problem. On arrival everything was perfect with even a bottle of fizz waiting for us, a very nice touch. "Getting to the property was difficult and finding the entrance was very hard. Parking onsite is very limited but the staff was great at helping us navigate. Room service for was subpar at best but convenient. There is a lot of construction on the way so map out alternate routes prior to arriving and departing. Other than that, the venue and staff are superb. It's very beautiful there. They do provide a shuttle to downtown which is very easy to locate."

"Stunning palazzo with historic charm and incredible views of the sea and the Etna. Valet parking was available and easy to access as the palazzo is located in the pedestrian area. We booked an executive junior suite for family of 3, the sofa bed is small/twin size, which was a little surprising to me but the view made up for it. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which looked beautiful but we usually prefer to walk around and try something outside of the hotels."
