"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "Very nice hotel and friendly staff who were very accommodating. The pool is incredible - you have to reserve in advance and the times did not seem so flexible (only one hour in the mornings), but this could have been because we were a family of four.
Breakfast was good, and the restaurant at dinner had very nice food - could maybe use a bit more variety on the menu (eg no pasta dishes was a bit of a surprise).
On the whole, very nice place for relaxation!"

"Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina."
