"This is a lovely, professionally-run hotel. We paid extra for a balcony with a sea view and didn't regret it. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Driving and parking in Taormina is expensive and challenging. We paid 50 euros to park at Porta Pasquale for 3 nights. It's about a 5-10 minute walk downhill from the hotel. People had a really hard time figuring out how to use the parking machine, but eventually everyone did. They need better instructions. "

"If you need a hotel with stunning views and great access to the cable car, this is the place. The staff's response is immediate. For any request, their answer is YES, and then they clarify what is needed. They react promptly to minor complaints. Everything is of very high quality and pleasant. Because of this, even tipping the staff was not an issue. Water was replenished every day. "This was one of best places we have ever stayed. There is an amazing view from every place on the property and the location is so calm and tranquil. The rooms were incredible and service was impeccable. The breakfast is something our group is still talking about and missing. Being so close to town but in such a peaceful and beautiful spot was amazing. We were celebrating my birthday and staff did a great job making us feel special. Perfect spot in Taormina! "
