In the past food was much better, not enough options at breakfast etc. The front stairs to enter so dirty as well as the pool area nothing cleaned daily including pool chairs. We will not go back The air conditioning was horrendous too!!!! We will not return.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. To say that this is a 5 star hotel is laughable. I am upset with Expedia for representing it as such. Location: Disgusting. It’s in the ghetto. 30 minute walk to Naxos. 45 min walk to Taormina. All through a dump. Check in: I was given a key to a room. The key worked, and I opened the door on two people in bed. All of us were shocked. Aside from being unpleasant, this is not secure!!! When approaching the concierge, they blamed it on Expedia. Do you mean to tell me your 5 star system doesn’t know if a room is occupied??? I’m a single woman traveling. What if someone walked in on me in the middle of night? Or stolen my belongings? Food: Honestly, I looked at their breakfast and decided it was safer to stay hungry. Room: Broken shower. Hard bed. No blanket. Weak AC. Very old. Price: Absurd for the stressful experience I had there. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Insgesamt alles positiv. Bei den 5 Sternen muss man wohl die Landeskriterien mit berücksichtigen (Zimmer haben beispielsweise keine Sitzgelegenheiten, beim Frühstücksbuffet muss man bei der einzigen Kaffeemaschine für 100 Personen ein wenig Geduld mitbringen). Essen oder Trinken von außerhalb mitbringen ist lt. Schild am Eingang nicht erlaubt (wir haben uns nicht dran gehalten). Das Wichtigste jedoch: Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

A mixed bag

Convenient to visit Taormina since you can leave car in lot for 12 euro or park free nearby. However, we called hotel desk from Taormina to ask where shuttle was picking us up and desk operator Francisco said it wasn't his job to tell us. He was mean in other ways. We returned to an ant infestation and he didn't care. Here's the problem for women traveling in sicily without a man, you will find an enormous amount of rude and dismissive behavior. Must use hotels.com in order not to get taken advantage of. Great deals and desk clerk can't harrass you since all is printed out and priced. This hotel was good because it's near beach and wonderful boating. Also an excellent breakfast included.

Complimenti alla competenza e cordialità dell’autista della navetta e ai due ragazzi della reception che hanno saputo trattarci come ci si aspetta in un albergo di 5 stelle. Per quanto riguarda l’arrivo, nonostante abbia fatto presente che avevamo affrontato un viaggio di 9 ore di macchina ,chi ha effettuato il check- in non ha mostrato alcuna flessibilità anticipando nemmeno di 5 minuti rispetto all’orario previsto per le 14. La camera aveva un problema con il box doccia che ho prontamente segnalato appena entrati in camera poichè impediva di usufruire della doccia ma ciò nonostante e le successive 2 segnalazioni, il problema è stato risolto nel giorno successivo. Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina o degli altri servizi,per una nostra scelta di usare il tempo a disposizione in modi differenti ma per quel che concerne la colazione è organizzato davvero benissimo. Parcheggio dell’albergo a pagamento . Di fronte, difficile se non impossibile trovare posti auto. Personalmente mi aspettavo di più da una struttura a 5 stelle e per il prezzo pagato per un soggiorno di 8 notti.

Здравствуйте! Проживал с 10 по 13 августа 2019 года, номер предоставили класса премьер в верхнем корпусе, к номеру претензий нет. просторный, два шкафа, больших, прихожая, ванная комната просторная. Безобразие, это завтрак. В отеле 5* один вид желтого сыра, один салями, один ветчины!!! все!!! свежих огурцов помидоров и других овощей нет. каши нет. 5 видов выпечки круасан в ассортименте, два кекса два печёных пирога. игурт в большой чаше, омлет, воздушные хлопья для заправки молоком.И КСТАТИ, НИ ОДНОГО КУСОСЧКА РЫБЫ И ЭТО НА СИЦИЛИИ!!! ни красной ни сардин ни сельди никакой! в углу в большой корзине апельсины абрикосы нектарины, на вкус дешёвая вата, соки из пакетов, перелитые в графины. Вот такой завтрак, выбор никакой, в трёшке в восточной европе и вильнюсе намного всё лучше. подниматься от улицы на набережной не долго, но вверх, как бы спокойно не идти, пропотеть элементарно. У бассейна плитка как в Доминикане, но там поток людей как в Лувре, а здесь...!? делайте выводы.

Sehr hübsch angelegtes Hotel. Gute Lage: Taormina ist mit dem Bus in kurzer Zeit günstig zu erreichen, Strand und Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Zimmer waren OK, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Klimaanlage nur über Rezeption steuerbar. Der Pool darf leider nur von 10 bis 18 Uhr genutzt werden. Personal am Strand eher unfreundlich. Hotelpersonal ansonsten nett und spricht gut Englisch, teilweise Deutsch. Frühstück gut. Man kann abends schön am Pool sitzen aber die Getränke dort waren viel zu teuer, insbesondere Cocktails.

Non da 5 stelle!

Quando si prenota un hotel a 5 stelle le aspettative sono molto alte e in questo caso sono state deluse. La prima cosa, che assolutamente non ci è piaciuta, è che nel soggiorno non è compreso l'ingresso alla SPA che è invece a pagamento (20€ a ingresso). La cosa non è in nessun modo esplicitata nel sito ed è assurdo sapendo che in nessun hotel, anche di livelli inferiori, l'ingresso sia a pagamento per gli ospiti dell'hotel. Poi la camera: il bagno, pur trattandosi di una premier, non era assolutamente da 5 stelle (no comment in particolare sulla vasca riadattata a doccia con il vetro mobile). Poi nella camera da letto da segnalare gli evidenti segnali di lavori di muratura su delle prese elettriche (allego foto), una riverniciatura posticcia sulla persiana (foto) e la tenda macchiata. Inoltre il condizionatore non è regolabile e il segnale wifi in stanza debole e, a volte, non utilizzabile. Poi il personale: si è dimostrato simpatico e disponibile ma, a nostro avviso, non adeguato come atteggiamento ad un hotel 5 stelle dove ci si aspetta tutta un'altra formalità verso il cliente. A riguardo segnaliamo anche un ingresso in stanza del personale delle pulizie il pomeriggio mentre stavamo dormendo (tessera della stanza regolarmente inserita) e un accappatoio messo a lavare dopo 3 giorni e mai sostituito. Lovely spacious room with view over the pool & bay. Short walk to waterfront restaurant & beach club, unfortunately beach was closed the day we wanted to go due to weather ( which did clear up) Handy bus to & from Top of Taormina to book. Very comfortable, quiet room. Short walk to waterfront restaurants or bus to panoramic views, shopping & restaurants.

Beautiful view

This hotel was nice and clean. However for a 5 star lacked a number of the facilities. There was no information in the room about the cost of room service or any trips or the cost of the spa. There was no ability to make coffee in the room. I would not normally expect local people to understand English but in a five star hotel I would, but even on the front desk the level of English was poor. The pool and spa was only open from 10 til 6. Which meant that you only could use them if you weren’t going on a day trip. Also the menu was very limited. Not at all what I expected from a 5 star. However The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Aardig hotel maar geen 5 sterren waard

We hadden een kamer met zeezicht maar hoewel we de zee konden zien was het zicht niet meer dan redelijk. Dat komt omdat het hotel vrij achteraf ligt. De kamer op zich was prima en van alle gemakken voorzien. Met de kamer hadden we zicht op een zwembad dat niet gebruikt kon worden. Het 2e zwembad aan de voorkant van het hotel was mooi. We zaten in een gedeelte van het hotel waar de Wifi performance ronduit slecht was. Het ontbijt buffet was goed. Wel was er tijdens ons verblijf een grote meeting in het hotel en daar hadden de (overigens vriendelijke) medewerkers duidelijk moeite mee: tafels waren niet beschikbaar en het weer klaarmaken verliep verre van efficient. Overall een aardig hotel maar zeker geen vijf sterren.

Nice Quiet Area

We loved this hotel, the only problem we had was the Wifi didn't work well needs updating and would like some American TV shows not just news shows. Food was outstanding !!!
