"BEWARE!!!!This place is not a hotel. It is a hostel. You get to share a bathroom and shower with the entire floor of over 20 rooms. The bedroom you get is very small. The hotel staff is useless. I will never go back here again and DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!"

"It was obvious the tension between the 2 women at front desk- it appeared one was training the other, she kept interrupting her- and saying negative things- when we asked to add our IHG account for points she was very rude saying no we cant because you booked through a 3rd party- you should of just booked through us then you'd get your points- reprimanded me like a child. We have never had this rude service before- wont be staying here again."

"Far enough from the highway to be quiet. The person who checked us in was wonderful: super friendly and helpul. Clean and nicely appointed rooms."

"Was headed home to the SF Bay Area from Northern AZ. Had my dog with me. Was tired & weary from long hours on the road. Found this hotel in Tehachapi, they welcomed us & we stayed overnight. The room was great, the breakfast buffet was delish, the staff was terrific & Ginger & I arose refreshed & rested the next day to hit the road toward home."

"Property has a good location, close to many restaurants and shopping. The train passes close but it is not obtrusive. This is a good location for a night, two or three."

"I paid only $60 and got a $60 dollar room. Room keys did not work and the train nearby went thru at least a half-dozen times thru the night. Staff was polite but hotel needs some upgrading."

"Not worth the money spent what so ever, bed linens clean but stained, towels old and need to be replaced, refrig unplugged so it wasn’t cold for our food, , shower was scary not sure if mold in the very very old caulking? Just overall feeling of the bare minimum put into this place. I didn’t use the shower and slept wrapped in my own blanket, it was late and we had a long drive otherwise I would have left within minutes of arrival . Cute town and had a great breakfast at downtown cafe"

"Staff at the front desk was so basic and just did his job. The room was was nice, we had two Queen beds, that were very firm and somewhat lumpy but we were tired and slept until the maids started working at 6:45. We were unfortunately in the room next to their storage supply area. The hallway was carpeted, but from the supply area to the lobby, it was tile so we can hear them pushing their wagons. And the back window from our room was next to a gate in garbage area so we kept hearing that. Tehachapi is a really nice area for an overnight stay.
