"This place was great , lots of space and comfortable furniture. Quiet safe neighborhood and walkable to corner deli, restaurant and gas station, check in process was so easy and Communication with host super easy and fast response. The hot tub was clean and ready to go for us which was cool , my family was so happy with the place we will definitely book again when ever we go up to Big Bear ."

"I booked Kathy’s Cottage based on its high rating, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Check-in was extremely difficult, which was already stressful—especially since I booked this for my dad. Once inside, the heater and fireplace were not working. I contacted the provided number, and instead of sending help, they instructed my dad to light the pilot himself. He was not comfortable doing that, and I made that clear. They said they would contact maintenance, but no one ever followed up that night. As a result, my dad had to stay there in the cold all night. The heat only started working the next morning, which did not help the situation at all. This was not a safe or acceptable experience, and I would not recommend staying here."

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and unplug. Toni was incredible from start to finish. She made everything feel welcoming and effortless, and her attention to detail really shows in the experience. "My family really enjoy the cabin. Everything in the cabin was perfect and it was spacious for the 4 of us. The inclosed front deck was perfect for our dogs to let out and relax. The neighborhood was really quiet and relaxing and the wild life was really active. I would definitely book this cabin again for all 4 seasons. Thank you "

"Cabin wasnt ready when my check in was at 3 pm and I got there at 2:50, owner was still there doing the cleaning and stuff. Very old beds wayyyy to small Everything is old NEEDS ALOT OF MAINTENANCE!! And lastly Owner wanted US to wash all the blankets and towels but we’re not there to do all that. That’s why we paid to stay and not do the laundry and clean the whole house Very old house Sofa bed was super hard to put back The oven/stove does work but the knobs were super tight and hard to turn it on I don’t really put bad reviews but this one was a must and hopefully who ever wants to rent this place Please read my review before you rent this places "
