The beds were very old and had worn out hard mattresses. After flushing the toilet would not refill straight away. The room needed a face lift and some maintenance but was clean. Staff were always pleasant and welcoming. The only real downside was the condition of the mattress otherwise a very enjoyable stay

The room was dirty. Curtains had dirty hand prints on them could not even use the freezer it was so frozen over. Rat poo in bathroom drawers bed was 2 singles put together and 1 was a inch higher than the other , so uncomfortable. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Needs to be rebuilt.

Good location. Easy walk to the beach precinct. Resort is dated but clean and comfortable. $200 key deposit was taken off credit card but was told it would take 5-10 days for it to be returned. Very difficult to find a parking spot in the carpark.

Wouldn’t return

Our particular apartment was original/not renovated/very rough, felt unclean and had terribly stained carpet and a damaged kitchen counter top. No dish washing liquid, wipes/scrubbers or tea towels. Only booked for a place to sleep, thankfully did not spend any leisure time in apartment. From the balcony it appears there are nicer renovated places in the same complex.

Very good value - but

The location is a little further from Broadbeach (500 metres) than most rentals and many units face the carpark. Rates are very reasonable so pay a little extra to get a 1BR Riverview apartment which is spacious and has a nice outdoor area. We liked the security and underground parking BUT our bed mattress (apt 24 A) was terrible, but would stay there again if they replace it

The room was dated with stained carpet, no coffee provided and very limited bathroom products (soap & shampoo with no face cloths). The balcony whilst it had a nice view the glass is very dirty & the floor was littered with cigarette butts. Yes this is one of the cheaper places 5mins walk to the beach there still should be min standards.

Great place and great position, needs dusting and had to clean out the aircon filter (but most hotels are the same) exhaust fan not working in the shower toilet room (fairly important) torn dirty curtain. Lamp shade without bulb, fridge and about 6 inches of ice around it. Management only has to inspect the rooms every now and then, other than that it wasn’t a bad place.

Booked a room for 4. No beds for kids. 2 x trundles dropped off, one broken and could not be used. Trundle mattresses were filthy and blankets smelled awful. Carpets not vacuumed well.

Reasonable hotel for the money however a little bit dated. Resorts location is good for easy access to surfers paradise bvld. The only issues we had upon entering the room were the washing machine was leaking water into the bathroom which created a slip hazard for our young children which resulted into us having to turn off the water to the washing machine in order for it to stop leaking which is not too good after only being in the room for less than 10 minutes. The carpets were also less than impressive with a lot of old staining and old damage around the room which didn’t give us a comfortable feeling as you spend a lot of time not wanting the kids to be sitting and crawling on the floor due to its questionable cleanliness. Not much in the way of activities at the resort itself so we found ourselves spending a lot more time out in the Gold Coast area which can be a blessing but also somewhat frustrating. The hotel Staff super friendly and very welcoming but parking was also a minor issue due to the large number of live in residents, parking spaces for guests were few and far between and felt like a constant battle to retain a space to park at the end of the day. The other issue we found was a lot of noise from the down stairs bar would travel up to room with tipsy patrons roaming the hallways in the early hours of the morning with sound travelling quite easily through the hallways and into the rooms. Overall our stay was.....ok 4/10
