"Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Only gripe was the pillows really although we had the option to change these for firmer ones at the reception."

"The property was beautiful and the view was amazing! Plenty to do in the area even in the summer. Breakfast was delicious. One of our favorite stays while visiting Germany."

Very well run hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable. Food is excellent but breakfast (whilst still excellent) is pricey at €30. Location of hotel excellent - right next to old town and the train station

I had a pleasant stay at Novotel Freiburg. The hotel offers a comfortable environment, clean and spacious rooms, and a professional service experience.
The location is convenient for visiting Freiburg, and the hotel provides a good balance between comfort and practicality for both business and leisure travelers. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall check-in and stay experience was smooth.

Great location for visiting Europa-Park and the Black Forest. There is a lovely restaurant next door and a beautiful town 10-15 min walk away with a few more lovely restaurants and taverns. I would definitely recommend and go back.

Great location. Great room with cooking facilities. Owners super friendly and helpful. Little English but we communicated without issue on my limited German. Lovely area. Would certainly recommend staying here.

The hotel locates exactly at the core of Eguisheim, which is the cutest village that you should never miss. I was sick on that day, the reception took the initiative to ask the cleaning to do our room first, and let us check in earlier. The room is super cosy, clean, nicely decorated and spacious. You have everything you need, including the information booklet, all the table set and equipment for cooking, and a laundry room with washing pods and dryer. We really liked our room, it was modern, clean & the communal kitchen & complimentary bottled water was a plus. The beds were comfy and the room was well equipped for our toddler and baby, with a baby changing table, potty and step. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us, especially as my partner had a dairy allergy, they contacted the bakery for allergens and made him fried eggs as the eggs usually on offer contained dairy. Our only niggle (which the guest house can't do anything about)...

Nice clean room, good location for Europa park and bus connections.
Check-in procedure was unusual due to the early end of check-in at 11am. If arriving after this I would recommend emailing in advance from the email on the hotels website. Especially if you don’t speak German as there was a language barrier when trying to call up in the morning.

Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful.

Loved this character apartment on the ground floor, delicious breakfast served in the room. Access to a fridge just outside the room. Modern bathroom. Excellent communication from host in WhatsApp and suggestions for restaurants and winery. Would definitely recommend, and stay again!

Delightfully friendly and helpful staff. The rooms had apparently been renovated and were spacious and comfortable. Great location with ample parking nearby. Only slight drawbacks were non-availability of English Breakfast Tea (important for us Brits) and lack of instructions to work the air conditioning. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
