10/10 Excellent
As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts.
The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather.
Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel.
The only downside is that we only had one night there!

My stay at the Firehouse Inn was amazing. This beautiful old building is stunning and the staff were amazing. They really couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy with plenty of towels and toiletries. The breakfast was amazing prepared by the lovely Donna and Mary the Inn keeper was also amazing.
I have been coming here for over 6/7 years on and off with business but the new owners have definitely gone about improving the little things to bring the building up a...

The hotel is absolutely lovely. Our room was large and spacious and really clean. Every guest is given two bottles of water on arrival which was a nice touch. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but good. We were in Forest City to see friends and will definitely stay here when we come again

Clean and comfortable although the bed was a little hard. Pretty quiet area, and a convenient location for local food outlets and a gas station right next door. Friendly staff.
