Top Forbidden City Hotel Reviews

Grand Hyatt Beijing

Grand Hyatt Beijing

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely facility, lovely staff, lovely location. A couple of minutes walk (through underground malls, if the weather sucks) from Wangfujing - and situated in a clean, well—organized office/other amenities park. Really nice. Staff were super friendly, professional and helpful with varying, but overall strong, English skills. The facility is very pretty. Only warning to others: the pool facility, while fantastically organized, clean and large, doesn’t admit of natural light. That said, they’ve done a decent job of offsetting the lack of natural light with various lighting techniques - and, as noted, the facility seemed otherwise flawless. Overall, would happily stay again. No complaints!"

"The staff at the hotel were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. We always stay here when we visit Beijing. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the location of the hotel is accessible to everything that the city has to offer. My children think this hotel trumps the Disney Hotels. :)"

8/10 Good
"I had a pleasant stay at Sunworld Hotel Beijing. The location is really good and very convenient for food, shopping, and transportation, which made it easy to explore Beijing. The room is quite old and could use some updating, but it was comfortable enough. I really appreciated the ample drinking water provided, and the towels and bathrobes were very good. The cleaning staff were also very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The front desk staff were okay, although the language barrier sometimes made communication difficult. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel, especially because of its great location. I think the hotel would be even better if the rooms were updated and communication with guests was improved."

"I thought that the place was magical and every detail was there in the rooms in the restaurant. I just love the way it looked smelled. It wasn’t overpower perfume which is one of the worst things these hotels keep doing. I don’t know why and I just the bed was extremely comfortable my only detail as I told the management was the service in the bar twice they forgot our drink and it took like 30 minutes and that part was a shame, and it wasn’t really full or busy to justify it other than that, I thought it was just magical to be able to stay there"

"It’s a good place to stay if you are first time to visit Beijing. The relationship manager was a little bit push to recommend us to upgrade a better room. Anything than that, we feel very comfortable to stay there. It’s a “maybe” back hotel for our family next time visit."
