It was such an amazing stay at The peninsula Beijing. They not only lived up to their reputation but exceeded our expectations in every way. Well located hotel in city center with good connections to the metro and nearby shopping. Spacious suite but cleanliness was so-so. For example dirty cutlery was not refreshed. Toilet not properly cleaned several days. Breakfast very good variety and attentive service by staff. Smooth check in and check out. We also dined at the in-house restaurant which we can recommend for a cool experience with locally sourced products.

The rooms at this hotel are excellent—spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Housekeeping also deserves recognition for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and consistency throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the service in other areas fell far short of expectations. The concierge team was not particularly knowledgeable and offered little in the way of helpful guidance. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the bellboys and greeters, who seemed largely indifferent. There was no warm welcome, no greetings, and no proactive offer of assistance, which is surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, while the physical aspects of the stay were impressive, the lack of attentive and engaging service made the experience disappointing.

I have to say that the lobby of this hotel is peculiar, although it’s beautiful it’s really a mall with a hotel dining room and a small check in area on the side, it feels less important than it should. Having said that the staff os excellent and tge service is what you expect from a peninsula hotel, very kind and accommodating. The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. I would recommend.

Every staff member we encountered was gracious, attentive, and professional, but a special mention must go to Ludi, who looked after us from the moment we stepped foot in The Peninsula, with genuine care and kindness. Ludi’s attention to detail and warm hospitality elevated our entire experience—nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was met with a smile and swift response. She is a true asset to The Peninsula team. Our suite was spectacular—elegantly designed with spacious interiors, a perfect balance of modern luxury and timeless Chinese artistry. The city views from our suite showcased the gentle but consistent hum of Beijing, especially as the city lit up in the evening. Every comfort had been thoughtfully considered, from the sumptuous bed linens to the high-tech features and stunning marble bathroom. I've been fortunate enough to stay in many hotels around the world, but The Peninsula Beijing is, without question, the best hotel I have ever stayed at.
