Excellent hotel with a warm atmosphere. You can really feel that this is a hotel run by a family who are passionate in what they do. The room was very clean, it’s in a great location and the staff went above and beyond to help us. In fact, we have found all Austrians to be incredibly hospitable. I would highly recommend. I stayed at the Hyperion during a last minute trip to Salzburg. The hotel is beautiful and the staff amazingly attentive. It is in a brilliant location- across the road from Mirabell palace and gardens and approximately a 10 minute stroll through the gardens and over the footbridge to reach the old town. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Very polite staff. Super cool spa with saunas and pool. Breakfast was extremely delicious. The yard was very nicely decorated. Hotel for all generations.

Fabulous family run hotel. We had a great 3 night break there in a lovely setting. Quiet but close to Salzburg for the airport.

We love this hotel for many reasons: location is perfect, the warmth and kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the size of the rooms and bathroom, wonderful extra touches, fantastic restaurant. It is the embodiment of old world, elegant charm.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. We swam in the lake on both days and walked round the lake which was very beautiful.

We had an amazing time over Christmas at Villa Alma. Sofia was a great host and very attentive. The location is beautiful and peaceful. It's easy to get to from Salzburg and there's plenty of transport to get around nearby. There are a few good walks locally, including amazing views at the top of the Zwolferhorn. There was a good variety for breakfast, and the room was well designed and comfortable. The whole hotel was stylish and well thought through. Would definitely recommend.

Ulrike, who manages Front of House, was absolutely superb. She provided one of the best welcomes I have enjoyed in a hotel for a long time.

A lovely old building (1429!) stacked with history. Great location and the staff were all really friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the town. Would highly recommend.

Red roses,champagne,duvet folded in shape of heart with rose petals arranged around it...unexpected for our wedding anniversary. View from our window was of river, castle, and old town. Perfect room in everyway. All the staff were friendly and helpful in everyway. Could not fault hotel in anyway. Best hotel we have ever stayed in on our travels over the years

Newly renovated hotel and very close to train station!

This hotel is amazing. It’s the best 5 star we have stayed at. The hotel staff are so welcoming and always there to help you. The views are just incredible, we booked a panoramic room and it was definitely worth it. The pools are lovely and the restaurants excellent. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want! Everything is excellent quality and is a lot more reasonably priced than a five star in the UK.

Our room for our disabled mum was on the ground floor with patio doors to the garden ,it was immediately next to the dining room and we had 24 hour access to complementary drinks, .Great breakfast... The hotel is family run and everyone could not do enough for you. We had a truly lovely stay and cant wait to go again, the hotel is easily accessible from Salzburg and the autobahn and also has a frequent bus service,again wheelchair friendly.
