I understand preserving the style, but refreshing or deep-cleaning certain areas would make it feel much cleaner without losing its character. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, mainly because of the location and breakfast, but some updates would really improve the experience."

"I saw a huge crockroach crawling on the bowls as I was getting breakfast and the staff just took it away and laughed about it like it's normal. It was so gross. Coffee maker was broken and stuff tried to fix but couldn't fix it. The toilet kept running and so it was hard to sleep. Took them 2 days before they had someone fix it. The staff are grumpy and not friendly except for a few people. The area near train station is very sketchy so would not recommend for kids. My kids were scared walking around. We witness a huge fist fight in front of the hotel. Omg. "
