We had a great stay at Porto Island, upon our arrival. we received a warm welcome and lots of recommendations for our visit in Porto. It was easy to reach the city center by bus and metro, but as we had lovely weather we enjoyed the walk in to the center each day, at a leisurely pace it took us about 40-50mins. We visited in the winter, but our hosts had made sure there were blankets and a space heater available which meant we were very comfortable. Excellent grocery store and cafe's are just...

The Baumhaus appartment was fantastic. The elegant entrance hallway leads you to the airy garden with the amazing tree. Our room, Emmerico, was on the top floor and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the garden and the city. The room was airy, well lit, plenty of space and very clean with a comfortable bed and seating. The little kitchen was perfect for a city break. We had a late check in, after normal working hours, and the instructions with pictures and videos on how to enter the building was...

The property is in excellent condition and superbly located near to all the sites of historic Porto. Communications were very clear from the outset and we could not have hoped for a better city break. I would thoroughly recommend the property to others. ( Assuming they are physically fit enough to get around the very steep hills which form an essential part of the character of the old city ).

It's always a slight worry that the property images won't live up to the reality - no such problems here. The apartment is exactly as shown - tastefully decorated and with all the extra space that comes with an apartment instead of a hotel room. Lovely bathroom too with a great shower. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but everything you need is available in the kitchen area of the apartment if you want to cook for yourself or make a snack. It's in a nice neighbourhood with lots of...

Good sized space for a family of four

If you’re coming to Porto, this is definitely the place to stay! The location right by the river is absolutely beautiful. The place itself was much bigger than we anticipated, was clean and well stocked. The communication with our host was faultless. They sent detailed check in instructions including a video of where the property was. They were very accommodating and friendly. We would recommend to anyone 10/10

From the moment we made our booking to the very end of our stay, the team at VC Heritage Ribeira couldn’t have done enough for us. The location really is a hidden gem, right in the heart of the Ribeira, just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful restaurants, bars, stunning river views and the fabulous Dom Luís I Bridge. It’s the perfect location for exploring Porto, with everything right on your doorstep. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. A very...

Very good stay. Friendly and helpful. Good location. Only criticism bedroom bit small and no plug sensibly located for kettle and toaster!!

Our apartment was very modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. More than we needed! We didn’t eat in the apartment at all as there are so many great restaurants & cafes nearby. The location was really excellent. In fact we had the best meal EVER at Tasco - just across the road!

Clean room, quiet overnight

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful new apartments with glorious views of Ribeira across the river. If you want to feel romantic then just stay here. Wake up open the curtains and just take it all in. Absolute Perfection. Make sure you hire bikes (and/or bike tour) and explore the coastline either side of the river. Do a port tasting tour (Taylors v good), eat sardines anywhere and they will be sensational and ensure you visit the lovely Afaruda fishing village.

Amazing location, wonderful amenities & comfy bed. Host was very helpful and provided all the details I needed for a relaxing stay. Would come back again 100%.

Great place, friendly staff

A spacious flat, well furnished and comfortable flat in a great location.

One of my favourite places that I’ve ever stayed. The staff were wonderful. The views and location are amazing and the apartment was very comfortable. We had a lovely stay and would love to return.

One again, YourOpo delivers. Great apartments and great locations. Excellent communication, too, about check-in etc.

Lovely apartment. Very secure and had all the amenities that we required. A kitchen to cook, washing machine and dishwasher. rooms were really clean and lovely. Great toilet/bathroom and air con was a great bonus for the heatwave. Close metro station which was a big plus for helping to explore the city and beyond.

Great location close to all the sights but just far enough away to feel really local. Fantastic food and drinks at a good price. Bruno our host and a local chap renovated and designed the whole building from the stairs to all the furniture. All very individual and smart not to mention practical. A very warm welcome from Bruno and even a bunch of roses for my wife. All in all a fantastic place and good value. Local guides on trips showed excellent knowlage and passion for Porto and...
