Why would you wait to pass away and go to heaven( if you believe so) if you can simply book a ticket to Florence and visit "Poggio Baronti"?!! An amazing and spectacular villa hidden in the heart of Tuscany with superb panorama view and just 7-8 minutes drive away from the city(That is exactly what we liked most-privacy and beautiful nature). I guess I would not surprise anyone of the readers after I confess that the Italian hospitality and respect from "Poggio Baronti" staff was something that...

This property is probably every persons fantasy about what a villa would be like in Tuscany , so comfortable and beautiful in the meandering hills. The pool was lovely and quite breakfast superb and the staff friendly and helped in every way. I really would say this villa excelled all our expectations Thankyou for a lovely stay

The location was fantastic, just over the river and close to a lively square lined with places to eat. The rooms were beautiful, very stylish, spacious and comfortable. The whole team were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we ever returned to Florence.

This is a superb former palace with luxurious amenities, first class service and a breakfast out of the pages of Gourmet magazine. No exaggeration. And it’s perfectly centrally located too.

A great place to stay for 3 days. It’s a bit older and shows in the room, particularly the shower head but overall it was value for money.

The house is in a beautiful location and the standard room was very clean when we arrived. The picnic hamper is a nice addition and came in very handy. And the bed was very comfortable. My only negative opinion was we booked a 11 night stay and could only have the room cleaned if we paid an additional €20. I would have liked clean towels and a basic room clean at least once while we were there for a longer stay. But overall a lovely place in the real Tuscan countryside.

This was a fantastic find. Our hosts Allessandro and Anna made us so welcome and provided the best breakfast we have ever had, ( along with Anna’s freshly baked cake) that along with the beautiful views and closeness to the centre made it just perfect.

Had a lovely one night stay at this property, and wish it could have been more. Our hosts were great, really friendly and welcoming. The area was perfect for us, not too far from the main tourist attractions, but situated in a prime location to experience Florence as a local.

Staff stayed after check in closed to help me access my room and explain the facilities. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is superb. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. My stay there was wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay here.Tge host Simona is excellent.Very friendly welcome and lots of good advice about buses etc.The property is very well situated for the town amenities. We had an apartment with its own kitchen, fridge etc for drinks and breakfast food which was very useful.

Absolutely fabulous! The staff, the amenities, the location and such a beautiful property. I love free standing baths and my room was excellent. Cecile is just wonderful- so passionate and knowledgeable, I was sad to leave which is as it should be.

Pure luxury! Beautiful rooms, great service, lovely breakfast and some lovely unexpected extras. Location couldn’t be better. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel with excellent hosts who couldn't do enough for you. Room was cleaned daily with top ups of water, biscuits and toiletries. Breakfast was good with a great selection of pastries and eggs made to order. Ideally situated, 15 min walk from the train station and 7 min walk to the leaning tower. Excellent B & B

What a lovely, well-located boutique hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and the rooms were very nicely decorated, large, modern, and clean. The staff were also very helpful.

Clean rooms, amazing staff, very good location

The room we were in was huge with a nice view of the street. It was less than 10 mins walking from Santa novella train station. There are a few restaurants nearby. Host was amazing, he gave us little tidbits about the area and food. Will definitely recommend it. This was the best value for money room in our entire trip.
