Quiet, comfortable, just what we were looking for!

Ended up with a HUGE room, hotel a little dated but perfectly comfortable for our overnight stay in Central City! Mainly casinos in Central City but also some interesting Gold rush history, worth a stop but probably not worth more than one night if like us you're not there for gambling! Easy parking in hotel multistory car park.

Cracking morning views and the sound of the river all night is calming

Lovely old hotel (built in 1884) with original features, a fabulous gift shop attached with locally made gifts, and a wonderful welcome from the couple who own and run the hotel. Lovely breakfast options and a really nice communal breakfast/sitting room allowing great interraction with other guests. Just like being at home in your own living room. A wonderful hotel ideally situated in the centre of Winter Park Village. The hotel was very warm, comfortable with spacious rooms and plenty of towels and toiletries The beds were super comfortable and breakfast choice was excellent. There was plenty for everyone, both hot and cold choices. There was a great hot tub out at the back which I made use of. I’m so glad I chose this hotel due to its location.
