"Pool view. fridge didn't work, ac loud, lock on poolside didn't work, mildew smelling room…switched rooms. Still old and nasty tiny bathroom shower. Absolutely no accommodation or late checkout allowed for bad experience."

"Rooms dirty & bathroom dirty. Few outlets-hard to plug in phones & clock near bed. Fridge was broken and milk and food for baby froze. No plug for microwave so had to move by sink and plug in. "

"Our room did not reflex the reviews nor photos. It was badly maintained inside and out. At arrival we were told that our original room was upgraded to a king suite, if this was an upgrade, I don't want to see what we originally had. Upon entering, we noticed there was no dresser to keep clothes nor shelves, the walls had holes and there was mold in the corners of the shower. The closet had a couple hangers, but no shelving to put clothes. The bed was a mattress on a spring board. The other furniture was two small uncomfortable futons that looked very old and not appealing to sit on, and an old office chair with no arms. With no other rooms available, we had to keep this room. But even if there were rooms available. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. There was stains on the furniture as well. The bathroom looked like it was started to be updated, but was stopped for some reason. One towel rack, no where to store extra towels and on our last morning we had no hot water. Breakfast was average, but the breakfast food was kept at the correct temperature and the serving area and tables were kept clean. It was the same breakfast everyday, with no variety. Four tables that seated 6 and four tables that seated 2 were the only place to sit for breakfast. The hotel was an easy walk to the historical area and it did have a trolly stop for those who could not walk the 5 blocks. These two things are the only positive to our experience. "I love that it was just a few blocks from downtown. It was definitely walkable. Breakfast was great. Views are beautiful. Staff was wonderful."

"We loved this hotel! We came to explore St. Augustine and also to visit the beach. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Breakfast each morning was great. "

"Their internet is not fast at all and not even secure. The room is clean but the bath tub gets filled up with so much water whenever you take a shower because it drains so slow. "

"The $5 shuttle, per person, was very useful to get to the Welcome Center in Old Town. Rooms are simple yet clean. Our second time and would go back again. Choice has just bought the property so it is looking more commercial than it did with private owners."

"Fine hotel for a quick stay. Beds are nice, tv was wonky, and there isn't a breakfast available f During the week but there is a restaurant onsite. We couldn't find an elevator so, be sure to get a room on the 1st floor if you have mobility issues. "
