"I liked the open part of the property we ate dinner with our friends that stayed in another cabin. Cabins were cute, I loved all the little details. Our tub was clogged that was a negative. Nice hike around the reservoir. Food options nearby were good but limited. "

"Much of South Lake Tahoe is noisy and congested. Fireside is located on the edge of the Camp Richardson forested region, perfect hiking distance from Pope Beach. "Overall this is a nice classic A frame at a very reasonable rate for Lake Tahoe. It’s dated, but clean and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that we alerted the property manager to when we checked out and hopefully they are addressed. (Non stick pots and pans are old and pealing, upstairs toilet would continuously run if not fiddled with and one of the furnaces seemed to be acting up) "

"Good place to stay! I have few concerns just to improve.. Trash container it was full. Towel handle broken. Bbq grill little bit dirty. Other than that everything else looks excellent !"

"Overall, this is a very bang for the bucks stay in all aspects. The location is great, only minutes to the major streets with lots of dining options and shopping. The proximity to the gondola and to the beach is another plus. We had the smallest room, with a very tiny shower area, which is a surprise to us, as we’ve never seen a shower stall in such a petite size, but it is functional, the room has everything needed. We stayed just one night and spent most the daytime out hiking and exploring, so the amenities are just sufficient. The breakfast options are amazingly abundant. Although there were crowds in and out, the dining room was packed, but the foods were always replenished quickly. We were able to have the selections that we like with very minimal wait time, considering the congestion at the time. We have 10/10 scored in all areas, especially the front desk allowed us to check in right around 1pm, which is very much appreciated. The only suggestion is to cover the exposed cord along the baseboard in the bathroom. Other than that, it was a perfect stay."
