We booked a 2 night stay here to celebrate my wife's birthday , we wanted a relaxing weekend and the white horse seemed to offer what we were looking for . Right from check-in i realised we had definitely picked the right place . We received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our room . Very clean with welcoming staff. Breakfast had an excellent choice and cooked meal was outstanding. We also had an evening. Meal with friends and this was also excellent with a good choice of food. Our room had everything one could need.

What a gem Creston Villa is! Thanks to Anna and Iain who made our stay a real home from home. From the breakfast with lots of choice, including so many jams, marmalades and relishes to homemade cookies to take with us for a later treat. We loved everything and we didn’t need to know anything about Lincoln before our trip, we could’ve learned it all at breakfast! Great location, easy walk into town or use the local bus service from just outside the property. Highly recommend. Thank you x

We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend. The staff service was exceptional at this hotel, the friendly and attentiveness of the employees really made this a wonderful break away. The room was ideal in a pet friendly room it was not luxurious but adequate and suited our visit. The food was wonderful and we felt treated from arriving to departure. I would recommend this hotel it can not be faltering delivery.

The room was equipped with everything one could need & we appreciated the newspaper service. The owner was friendly as were all the staff but not obtrusive no carpet in the bathroom was a bonus !!

Stunning location, Lovely bar restaurant, Nice food with a good drinks choice, Nice comfortable rooms, Great breakfast, Staff are friendly and efficient. High quality Inn at a reasonable price for what you get. Definitely would recommend and would stay again when back in the area.

Second wonderful stay at the Crown - Fantastic room with rolltop bath, separate shower, lovely big comfortable bed and plenty of space. Very welcoming and friendly staff but beware the stairs! Right in the centre of this beautiful old market town with numerous independent shops, restaurants and pubs, so we'll definitely be back...

This is truly a wonderful hotel to stay I've stayed in hundreds of hotels This is in my top 3 to stay in If I'm ever working in Sheffield area again. I'll have no hesitation in booking this wonderful hotel The food is so well presented and taste delicious. Perfect in every way.

We loved the feel of the place , it was like been on holiday sitting outside in the courtyard drinking freshly made coffee . The staff went above and beyond and were very helpful and friendly . We will be going back .

Was in Leicester for my daughter’s graduation, the bed was very comfortable, my wife snored happily all night. The breakfast was great, it set us up for the day. If I need to stay in Leicester again, I’ll be staying here.

Had a great overnight stay. Lovely room with view on golf course. Nice to have bath with separate shower. Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed.
