Get behind the wheel of a racing car and feel its power as you hit top speed on Dubai Autodrome’s racetrack. The motor sports facility also enables drivers to test the performance of their own cars and motorbikes around a circuit.
Dubai Autodrome features a 3.5-mile (5.4-kilometre) track that is officially recognised by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (F.I.A.), the world governing body of motorsport. There are also go-karting tracks and a driving school.
Hone your driving skills in a choice of high-performance cars including an Audi TT, Formula 1-style single seaters and a Renault Clio City Cup. The drive experiences last for approximately 2 hours and involve a briefing by professional race instructors, circuit drives and certificate presentation.
Put your own car through its paces on one of the special car track days. In this safe and controlled environment you can race around the track free from the constraints of public road rules. Motorcyclists can also discover what their vehicles are capable of on one of the bike track days. All vehicles must be road worthy and are safety checked before being allowed on the track. Drivers and riders must also present a valid drivers’ license.
Younger visitors are not left out as the Dubai Autodrome offers a “First Drive Experience” where children from 12 to 18 years of age can drive on the circuit with a professional instructor. No license is required.
Many of today’s top race drivers started their careers in go-karts when they were children. Discover why go-karts are such good training vehicles at the Dubai Autodrome’s Kartdrome. There’s an indoor and outdoor track where karts can be raced by those aged 7 and older.
For details of all activities, what you must bring with you and information about professional race events, check out the autodrome’s website.
The thrills, experiences and roaring engines of Dubai Autodrome can be found inside Dubai Motor City, about 30 minutes by car from Dubai city centre. On-site car parking is free.
