They kindly froze ice packs for my medication, which was greatly appreciated, and when they learned it was my birthday, they surprised us with an upgraded room. To make the day even more special, they sent a beautiful gluten-free birthday cake and balloons to our room — such a thoughtful and personal touch. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, and the location is simply fabulous. We cannot recommend the Shangri-La Hotel highly enough and will definitely stay again."
