"I stay here every time I am in town. (The room wasnโ€™t cleaned properly. Debris on floor in bathroom and entry door way. Shower curtain was dirty on bottom and black substance on top wear rod is inserted.) those were the only issues. Still one of my favorite stays in Gloucester"

"Upon arriving we were greeted so graciously by the two girls from Pennsylvania I have misplaced their names in my head everything was a bit available the chocolates the lovely cookies the coffee the wine bar the room was beautiful the beds were lovely we had a stellar time and will definitely be back thanks again Hornsby house and we sure did enjoy ourselves"

"It's not the Ritz Csrlton, but it's clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and inexpensive. It was a safe place for me and quiet. They had a little problem with my check out. They thought it was one day earlier but I went to the office and they assured me it's was their mistake. They were very good about it and apologized. Overall I only stayed there to sleep and enjoyed my time there ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ๐Ÿ˜€"

"A tiny cottageโ€ฆ yes it was, but very nicely maintained, clean, comfortable and oh so Peaceful! So beautifully quiet at night. A bon fire each night when I was there. Welcoming for my dogs. The owner was so friendlyโ€ฆ very nice โ€ฆpersonable to speak with. I did enjoy my stay. Very relaxing. Minutes to downtown Cape Charles."
