"We stayed in an oceanfront studio room, which we attempted to upgrade. Unfortunately, the hotel was at full capacity. For starters, the toilet in the bathroom ran constantly and was broken. We were staying next to a family who was celebrating a birthday and they played loud music all day and night and kept going in and out of their room slamming the door. Now, my family likes to have fun and play music as well, but we know how to be considerate of others in doing so. It was very hard to sleep. The lamp separating the two beds in our room wouldn’t plug in. We called guest services who informed they would be sending someone up to fix the issue and that never happened. Now I will say customer service efforts were made on the second day of our stay to see how things were going with our room and if we needed anything, which I appreciated. When we checked in we opted to valet our vehicle but found this to be very inconvenient to say the least. The hotel front desk associate, they were short staffed. After getting situated in our room, we decided to head out and had requested our car from valet and had to wait 30 minutes. Not to mention we paid approximately $700 for the room, which we didn’t mind as we anticipated our stay would be nothing short of amazing, but sad to say it was very opposite of that."

"Although the property was extremely dated, the room renovations in my space were nice. The first night was accompanied by high traffic(hotel had no control over) by it settled down and pleasant rest was attainable. However, the second night was extremely unnerving! With in the hotel was constant movement like the sound of furniture sliding(below or to the side of my room), and literally heavy stepping or pacing back and forth through the room above or beside. This went on all evening and night! I finally called the manager after 11pm I do believe and it stopped, and started again! He instructed me to call the front desk, so I did but NO one would answer after repeatedly trying. I checked out just before midnight because I could not get any rest. Exhausted I started my departure, after being awake sense 4:30 A. M. I was very disappointed. The lady at the desk asked for a hug of all things instead of offering solutions. She asked why didn't I call? The two associates smiled after I stayed that I had been trying to reach them. God forbid something worse were to have taken place! For $100/night after taxes I would expect much better conditions! Housekeeping staff was very pleasant! "

"It was stains on my room floor, bathroom floor wasn’t clean. No wash cloths in room went to desk at 6:30am in morning to inform front desk they told me that I would have to wait until 8am when housekeeping came in which made me very upset because I had somewhere to be but I was unable to shower due to not having wash cloths available. I was not satisfied with my room!"
