The hotel is showing its age a little bit with the odd loose floorboard around the pool area or occasional gurgling plumbing but no major issues and the communal areas are all well kept and clean. Our room was fine and the in- house dining options are very good. However, the real gem of this hotel is the staff - they are lovely, kind and considerate. "Royalton used to be great place to stay. Current management is very non-customer oriented. Increasing in cost, decreasing in service. Breakfast buffet far fewer items now. Though minibar indicated as included in price, alas, no minibar. Have to beg for towels. At least the long-time staff members still friendly, albeit being restricted by current management in assisting the guests. I miss the old Royalton of even just three years ago. "
