Previously stayed at the hotel many years ago with previous owners & it has so many facilities for kids it has the potential to be a great hotel (like it used to) Biggest let down was the heat of the room. "Small room and somewhat dated decor; the shower was poor. I did have thecsmallest and cheapest room. However, a really comfortable bed and crisp bedding. The staff were fantastic, proper old school attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked for you. My son is a student and lives in Edinburgh, I asked if he could join me for breakfast. Not only did they say yes, they said there was no charge - how nice is that? I used this as a scouting visit to see if I will come...

"A really good hotel that had great facilities. Two restaurants with excellent choices. Two indoor pools - one just for hotel guests (the other for guests in the lodges). Several comfy rooms for chilling. Lovely grounds for walks and close enough to walk to Brodick. Everywhere is decorated to a very high standard. The staff are a mix of local and world wide - all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole hotel is dog friendly. Highly recommend "
