An ideal place to come and relax - far enough off the beaten track to be calm and secluded, but with great access to rainforest and beaches, and also a good base for exploring Corcovado. The hotel is recently built, and very modern, in an understated/classy way. Villas have a whole wall of windows and an enormous balcony, so made it easy to watch the morning routine of the toucans. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Corin! The hotel itself had nice interior and was always clean, with lovely surroundings. The food was great and we really enjoyed the heated pool too. The staff really make the hotel, everyone is so friendly and always willing to help. We’d highly recommend this hotel!

Wow what a place! It was marvellous from start to finish! The views spectacular! The staff are wonderful, we were served by Jose, Francisco and Roxy, they couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel special. The food was amazing each night, the attention to details from the chef is second to none. The rooms were cleaned meticulously too. I can’t recommend El Castillo enough. A truly magical slice of heaven!

The staff were incredibly attentive with lots of little touches to help make your lives easier e.g. golf cart from the main entrance, leaving gift with snacks for my road trip, choice of toiletries, free umbrellas available and more.

The room was incredible. The amenities within the room and the comfort were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for you especially in booking tours and local restaurants. The food was amazing and offered a good selection. All in all our stay was perfect. We had a great 6 nights at Casa Gitana, we had a lovely room with a shady private patio, our room was cleaned everyday and the staff were great. Breakfast was included and there is a restaurant for lunch and dinner. It's a short walk to the beach and many tours can be organised at the hotel. Thanks.

We spent 6 nights at Makanda in the luxury villa which was a fantastic experience. The Villa was stunning and had real wow factor….we’ve stayed in many places around the world but this was definitely the best and oozes pure luxury in every detail. Staff are so friendly and helpful and are very quick to address your needs. Food was lovely and the resort as a whole is beautiful. I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean....

Its not as luxurious as it says . The rooms are very dark and dated , need extra touches such as slipper and dressing gowns , high quality toiletries. The bed is way to high , Im 165cm tall but still needed a step too get up. No TV in the room. It needs to upgrade with the times , i. Im sure other hotels locally are more modern and up to date. Especially as the beach is massively disappointing, its dirty with ocean rubbish not just drift wood but from boats etc . The hotel needs to offer a wow...
