The food was delicious and great variety. The wine waiter gave us di much information about the wines. Can highly recommend"

"Albergaria do Calvario is a lovely hotel just inside the ancient Roman Walls of Evora. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere is complimented by the warm management (Hugo & Joao). The complimentary breakfast was also very good. "

"Simple but provided all that was necessary. Near the downtown. Free parking provided a few minutes walk from the property but free street parking in front of the hotel can be used on a short term basis. Breakfast is extra. Staff was helpful."

"What a great little place. Parking was in garage, attached to hotel. The hotel was just fun to be in. Breakfast was unbelievable! Walk right up to the wall. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"The Locke is a lovely place to stay. The neighbourhood is conveniently located a few steps away from Marques de Pombal Metro, allowing easy acess to all areas of Lisbon. The property itself is delightful and I opted for one of the more budget friendly rooms in building D, which although located in the basement it is bright and airy due to the large windows at street level...anyhow I wasn't about to spend much time in my room when there's an entire city to explore. That being said the Locke de Santa Joana drips history while at the same time featuring all the mod cons we humans expect. Also, don't forget to make a reservation at the restaurant in the courtyard of the former 17th century convent..the Santa Marta...outstanding food and outstanding people who work there."
