"It was a good place to stay. It was very easy to park and the rooms were clean. I checked in much later than expected and the host left the keys for me in a box which I found difficult to open. I didn’t see any staff during my stay, but everything was clean and tidy. "
"Great small place modern, well equipped. We were lucky the people we shared with were quiet as sound does echo. Much better than we expected, such s good price"
"Case Malia was the most beautiful place that we’ve had the pleasure of staying. The hosts were so helpful, made the best food, and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. A vacation here is like a dream come true. I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars. We will be coming back!"
"We had a wonderful stay at MN56, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond make our stay memorable. Breakfast was delicious and the area is perfect, removed
from the foot traffic but close enough to walk to restaurants, shopping and the waterfront. "
"This Vila is a great location between Salema, Sagres and Lagos! We only had a one night stay but really enjoyed our time. The host Filipa was so friendly and hospitable, great communication, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for couples or family/groups!"

A really interesting old town with lots of independent shopping, great selection of restaurants and quirky bars. Marina area is a contrast but a nice one. Walks out to the Lighthouse are dramatic. Nice place.

Great food, and an excellent Slavery museum on the site of Europe's first slave market, which opened in the 1400's.

Lagos is pretty quiet but not too quiet. Coast line is beautiful and unique, a must see from the water. Beaches were far below the town area here, so expect stairs to get to the beach

Don't hesitate to use the local buses and trains. They are very inexpensive and run pretty much on time. There are many good restaurants and pastry shops just outside the old town. Not everything is within the wall. Be prepared to walk a bit.

Lovely boardwalk from hotel to Lagos but it takes about 30 minutes to walk it. Lagos has a good selections of restaurants and is good springboard for far west of Algarve.

"Amazing place to stay when you are in Lagos. The location is perfect with the beach and restaurants just across the street. Having multiple pools meant there was always a place to enjoy. Rooms were modern and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Highly recommend the Belmar Spa and Beach resort!!!"
"Great property with amazing sea views: just walk less than a yard walk to a great beach. Safe and quiet, friendly staff, cared pool area, and a very clean studio made us wanting to stay longer."

"The accomodation was perfect for exploring Lagos. It was a 10 minute walk into the old town and a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk for the beaches and spectacular clifftop views.
The hotel has great staff who were willing to help you and always greeted you with a smile. The rooms had everything you needed and lovely traditional decor tastefully done. They aren't trying to be a 5 Star hotel but you can see everyone takes pride in the hotel to make your stay as enjoyable as it can be.
The breakfast had plenty of choices for a continental breakfast. Very happy with what was offered and it was available until 11am which is perfect for a lazy morning person like myself.
I normally go for hotels or guest houses that have tidy rooms, so I can leave my bags and go explore. This time I was happy to stay around. I think many guests were thinking similarly because some stayed by the pool all day. The pool lounge chairs are a premium, which meant that if you didn't time it right you would miss out on a lounge chair but it didn't stop me from taking a dip to refresh "
"We (my wife, my 18-year-old son, and I) had an amazing stay. The one-bedroom apartment was perfect. We didn't pay extra for the pool view room, and that was fine for us. The other side of the hotel was quiet and still had a balcony. The facilities of the hotel and the marina just outside were wonderful, and the old town and all its restaurants and night life were an easy walk. We also drove and there's an easy underground parking facility right under the old city. Beach was a 15- minute walk, and the drive to grotto beaches also easy. Every single employee at the hotel was wonderful and super friendly and when language was not fluid they were patient communicators. "
"Gorgeous hotel. Excellent facilities. Had a fabulous massage at the spa.
Food ok, not quite 5* in my opinion, but ok.
Pretty far away from Lagos and its beaches, car or Uber required but that was fine for us"
