"After a few years going backwards, it seems this hotel took a new air (management) and is going back on track. The location is ideal, yet, they have to do something with the car entrance. On weekends the small street leading to the hotel is used as a parking lot for the theater beside and the cable car facility. Thus, it's a battle to go in or out (taxis needed to get us down one block away). "

TV had only one English channel (Bloomberg) and screen reception was fuzzy (not that I could watch Bloomberg for too long anyway, so no huge loss). Having CNN or BBCWorld would have been nice. Very clean and comfortable, helpful front desk
"Very pleased with this hotel, so we came back when we retuened to Almaty. Very clean property. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with super clean comfortable bed. Wifi acceptable but could be improved. Front desk was extremely helpful with all needs. In a very nice neighborhood, and is located close to major train station, supermarket, major bus routes into city, and local parks. Will be happy to stay here again in the future."
