"We loved the spacious, elegant areas downstairs, with beautiful pictures (dozens of them!) and period furniture and stylish decorations. There is tea and coffee downstairs at all times, we stayed there each night admiring the art. The staff was most helpful and friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The room (junior suite) was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom is really tiny. The hotel shows the signs of aging, and I hope it will be renovated because it is unique in its character. "Really central, great location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Opt for the nicer rooms tho ~ we had one deluxe that viewed the harbor, which was excellent, and two that were cheaper...they were both very small and had issues with the shower design (got whole bathroom floor wet). The lobby bar and breakfast area were lovely. Would def stay here again."

"Great location for an apartment in the middle of everything. The place was clean but the furnishings appear to be a tad old or just heavily used. Various lights were broken or missing. It just looked a little run down in the rooms but overall clean and a decent place to stay. The location is really what made it amazing. "

The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights. "
