The hotel is beautiful, the rooms spacious, the beds very comfortable, the linens first-rate, and the interior design impeccable. And the location is unbeatable—in the heart of the jungle so you can experience all the sights and sounds and directly across from the entrance to the Palenque Archaeological Zone. I arrived on the Tren Maya and the hotel provided a courtesy shuttle between the station and the hotel. The service is free, but you do need to contact the hotel at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a space. All-in-all, I had a great experience and have to hand it to the visionaries who created the Tren Maya and its network of supporting hotels. Job well done!"
