"We stayed in a luxury suite which was well worth the extra expense, though not a great deal for those from the Global North. Service was excellent in the restaurants and front desk with a centralised tipping system that avoided moments of awkwardness. Breakfasts were amazing with a mixture of Eastern and Western dishes, some cooked order if required. Both of the restaurants were good wit the Garden Terrace offering a wider choice for those wanting a break from Indian cuisine. The service in both was pleasant and attentive. The pool was a welcome facility, prettily and quiet. In fact the garden setting and sense of space made a welcome relief from the bustle, chaos and attraction of Delhi. Perhaps the only minor negative feature was that the hotel was quite a distance from many of the major must-see sites."

"Hotel within 5 minute walk of New Delhi rail station within Old Delhi. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff members are efficient and polite. The breakfast was good (Western options of cereal and egg - omelette, fried, scrambled available. Location can be noisy (it's a bustling area) I slept well"

"had a really nice couple of nights at the Havelli. quite a unique place I think. It’s in the heart of old Delhi but all things considered remarkably peaceful. I wasn’t entirely sure when I read the reviews but I’m glad I went there. Some clarification for those who are uncertain 1. It’s on a little pedestrian lane that’s actually not too busy and very sweet. 2. Incredibly centrally located. A couple of minutes walk from the mosque. 3. Felt very safe. The usual warnings about pick pockets but I never felt in the slightest bit worried. 4. access is actually quite easy. Bike tuk tuks will take you pretty much to the door. and the road is only a minute or so walk away. 5. there is another property about 50 yards away which also sounds lovely but I didn’t stay there. 6. very fine restoration. I’m told it took five years and I can believe it. I don’t know that you’d want to stay there for a week. Just because old Delhi is a bit overwhelming. But for two or three nights it’s an experience not to be missed. A haven of peace in a cacophonous frenetic but fascinating part of the city. "

"The service at this hotel is on another level. Every single member of staff from housekeeping to the restaurant team went out of their way to make sure your needs are attended to. Special thank you to reception who allowed me to check in a few hours early and to Ajay and Alina in the restaurant who made ever breakfast and dinner amazing. The food here was superb too, the pool was amazing, I would recommend this place and suggest you do halfboard as the area around is close to the tourist area but Delhi traffic is horrendous and I wouldn't venture out alone in the evenings. The outside is similar to all other hotels in Delhi. Also, the smell in the hallway was absolutely devine! "
