We highly recommend this fabulous hotel. It is beautifully designed throughout with lovely antique furniture and paintings - to give you an idea how attractive it even does tours for the cruise ships as part of a heritage package (they only came once in the week and did not disturb at all). Being adult only means it is so peaceful and it's location, essentially surrounded by banana plantations, means you get no noise disturbance at all. But it is not isolated, you are 2 minutes walk into...

We loved the atmosphere of the Parador - relaxed, quiet, understated - wonderful shady gardens and inner courtyards with wonderful old trees - especially the Dragon Tree. We hired a car for a couple of days and toured the island - San Sebastan is a good place to begin a tour. The town has a good night time feel with locals enjoying the evenings. The harbour which can be watched from the terrace of the Parador is fascinating. We would go back again.

We had a lovely stay at the jardines de nivaria- a fantastic hotel in a great location right in the centre of Adeje. It has direct access on to the beach and the row of shops and bars in Adeje. The recent refurbishment means the rooms are clean and modern but the hotel still retains the Art Deco vibe in the common areas. We have just come back from a 9 night stay at RGV - it was a truly magical holiday! The staff are the best ever I have ever met - always willing to go over and beyond and so incredibly friendly and smiley. Tom. We spent a week in this new, tastefully designed hotel. The highlight for us was the ‘chill area’ with its architectural awnings, white curtains and comfortable loungers. The only downside, in our opinion, was Puerto del Carmen itself which is very commercialised. However there are some restaurants with nice views overlooking the port. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the friendly attentive staff made us feel welcome and at home. Even the General manager made daily rounds to talk to guests and listen to their comments. Decorated in a colourful Mexican hacienda style it is beautifully appointed throughout with a number of quiet secluded areas in the grounds around the hotel and pool. The hotel work force is very efficient and work hard to make your stay worthwhile even though we have spent more time at the beach than by the hotel pools. The downside - smoking allowed by the pools and sitting/eating places. Very unpleasant.

When looking for hotels to stay, this hotel stood out. It's modern and artistic design was the attraction, as well as the glowing reviews online. On arrival, even the taxi driver gasped.
