"Very good. Much nicer rooms than expected. Felt like on check in we weren’t told some information like restaurant closing days and pool towels but generally very good"

"A wonderful place for a getaway. Beautiful scenery and 4 pools to choose from. The beach is a stone's throw. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Superb entertainment nightly with two music acts on each evening. Fabulous!"

The XQ Palacete Hotel is an excellent small boutique type hotel on the southern most tip of Fuerteventura away from the crowds found in many other resorts. Whilst predominately German clientele there are also some from the UK so the staff speak both languages. Set on the edge of the village of Morra Jable it is ideally placed above the golden sandy beach with a great elevated position facing south with a great terrace and pool area. Breakfast outside on the terrace is a must and plenty warm...

We had a few problems with our accommodation at the start of the holiday but these were quickly resolved. We experienced some inconvenience as a result so were a little disappointed that a bottle of wine did not appear from the management as a result? Hey ho.
We were disappointed with the table layout in Terra Sana. Long rows of tables only a few feet apart is not conducive to private dining is it? The food in Terra Sana at dinner time was not that good either. However, all that said, we had a...

This hotel was very spacious, modern and peaceful. Room was comfortable and tasteful. Bed was huge and nice bathroom. Was cleaned every day if required. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept.
Most guests were older couples, mainly German, which meant it was nice and quiet with no loud drunk Brits if you know what I mean 😉.
There was lots of choice at breakfast and dinner and food was of a good quality.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, ideally located close to the beach. We decided to go with breakfast only which was very nice. There is the town of Morro Jable 5 minutes taxi ride away which has some lovely restaurants and bars at the seafront. This is where we went for dinner as we didn't want to be "tied" to the hotel every evening. Would definitely recommend the hotel and location.

This was our third stay at the Calypso. There is nothing to say negatively about the hotel.
Many locals and some hotel staff have a better command of German than English because of the number of German guests staying in this area.

Great break. Food was really good and varied. The weather was surprisingly good right up to Christmas Day itself which started windy and slightly overcast but soon cleared up. Only issues were lift broken down for a couple of days and bathroom could have done with a decorate/refurb.

Wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. Large pool, plenty of sun beds. Buffet meals, excellent choices with meat/fish freshly cooked as required. Rooms large with balcony and very clean. Service very efficient, hairdryer did not work and was changed for a new one the same day.
Entertainment provided, different show every night mostly quite good especially the Lennon and McCartney tribute pair.
Thanksfully very few children at this hotel. So it you want a peaceful holiday pick this hotel. Few...

This is our second time to this hotel and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed. Everything was just as amazing as it was last year. The food is to die for, so much to choose from and the quality was like nothing you can compare to. Most hotels don't offer good food and you can usually expect bland food but the riu just makes it top class. The staff are extremely helpful albeit some more than others but overall good. The rooms are spacious and cannot fault the hotel on anything. The...

A wonderful week with the grown up family. Club Premium, all inclusive was a wonderful experience. The opportunity to enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast on the terrace of Bar Atlantico - with so much fresh choice every day; followed by a stroll into the town and if you're feeling a little more energetic a walk on to the old town for a drink by the sea wall; walk back along the beach working up an appetite for a lovely leisurely buffet lunch on the terrace again; completing the afternoon by the...

The hotel is centrally located with everything including the beautiful, long, white-sand beach within walking distance. Very friendly, competent reception staff and a quick check-in experience with no waiting. The room (suite) was very large and well furnished with a separate sitting area. We had a lovely balcony with view to the ocean and light tower. The breakfast and dinner buffets were modest but included something for everyone's taste.

You cannot go far wrong here. If you want heat, sun, a sun bed, good food without the fancy fanfare you cannot go wrong here. This is our 7th time at the hotel. Now.. nothings changed but it needs to. Not going overboard but simple refinements are needed, comfy sofas, strict rules on where to smoke, better lighting of a night time & acoustic panels in the dining hall to lessen the noise. The sister hotel the ‘Mar’ up the hill has been really spruced up and the outside music arena and bar looked...
