The hotel is located in an affluent domestic part of La Paz where wealthy people live. For that reason it is some way from the centre but is quiet although I'm not sure that there is anywhere to walk to around here. The rooms are located off of galleries on three sides of a central full height atrium. The fourth side is glass and contains a swimming pool and gardens. We have been mostly backpacking around South America and decided to splash out a little for a nice place to stay for New Year's Eve. At £60 a night this hotel was good value for money. We were also pleasantly surprised by the the value for money of the menu. The pool was warm and clean and the staff were incredibly kind, cheerful and helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed at Hostal la Magia after our 3day2night Uyuni tour to the national park. We were really tired and this hotel offered a really nice place for us to get refreshed. Great location just near to the center of town and a few nice pizza restaurants. (good at night when you are so tired after a tour). Great warm showers, tidy room and smooth and quick wifi. Both staffs are extremely kind and helpful. Helped us to print the Amazonas boarding pass after we emailed it to them. Tho its a little...
