"Our NYE stay at Bayside was great! The woman who worked at the front desk both at night and the next morning was super helpful and moved things along to get everyone helped (multitasking- towels in and out, food being dropped off, people checking in, etc.) Breakfast buffet was PACKED in the morning, but the staff really kept up. There was a wait for items, but honestly they were hustling and constantly refilling everything! Im sure its just as busy here in the summer! Definitely a family resort, there were kids running up and down the hallway at all times, but we had our kids too so didnt bother us a bit.. and we always travel with our sound machine too! Overall, a great family place to stay! Clean room & pool area!"

"I’ve always been curious about the Wayside Inn because my mom worked there a gazillion years ago when she was in high school. It’s so cozy and clean and staff was very friendly. They also upgraded us which was super nice! The only thing was outlets in the room were kind of oddly positioned— but we made it work. Also you really couldn’t have a better location for exploring Chatham downtown (the Squire and shops are right across the street). Hope to be back in the summer. "
