"Able to eat outside, I felt at home with the ‘60-70 decor. Felt very safe in the area. Wonderful sand with a Safe beach and able to swim safely in the ocean. Really enjoyed FunkyD singing in the evening.close walk to a bus to go downtown $1:50! Or catch a taxi at front of resort. Although, every driver charges their own rate??offer a price that you are willing to pay before getting in cab? Older crowd at this resort while we were there which was nice as I am a senior . "The British Colonial is nothing less than great! The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Food is amazing, especially their sushi. The beach is a stone throw away from the pool which is perfect to go back and forth throughout the day. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and welcoming.
