"Was disappointed when I asked to check out at 12:00p in order to take a business meeting in my room. The front desk manager said he will not allow me to stay in the room until 12p. I was highly disappointed and felt that the staff did not make my needs important as your guest. The front desk manager kept over talking me on the phone when I was requesting a late check out, that registered to me as very rude and disrespectful. I recommend to retrain your staff to become more ‘hospitable’ since this is the hospitality industry. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to the Allegra in the future. "

"I had a fantastic stay at The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The location is hard to beat, right along the Chicago River and within easy walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Waking up to those river views was easily one of the highlights of my trip. The rooms were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Everything felt well-maintained, and I appreciated the small touches that made the stay more comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional from check-in to check-out. Any questions I had were handled quickly, and they made me feel genuinely welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend"

"Heat in our room broke twice. Front desk person did not show any compassion although it was below freezing outside. Maintenance guy fixed it but it broke again in the middle of the night. We slept in a freezing room. Another guy came in the morning and fixed it and said that the other person did not do it right. That is why it broke again. Told the front desk but just gave me a sorry. Will never book this hotel again!"
