"We had a three night stay at this hotel. Very welcoming staff. Room was a good size and very quiet (note: there was building work noise from property next door between 8am and 6pm). The spa (onsen style) was a great facility - very clean. There was a large range of both Japanese and western style food at breakfast, and it was never too busy. The hotel is located in the historic Gion district, with many temples within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again."
