"I stayed here after my book launch of The Way That Loved me Back and on what would have been my beloved gran's birthday. When i checked in there was a funeral reception. And later I met my friend who had been to Linn Cemetery to see off a friend as well. So it was an emotional stay. However, the front reception staff made checkin a breeze, and although I didnt reserve a table for dinner my friend and I were accommodated for in the bar. The barman was professional and friendly. The food was delicious, compliments to the chef. And then afterwards, the best was yet to come. My room was upgraded to the Club Rooms. My room was at the back overlooking the marquee. The room was super spacious, had sufficient furniture to enjoy a decaf coffee while watching some tv before taking a shower. The shiwer room was beautifully styled and the water pressure from the shower was simply amazing and forceful. After closing the curtains and turning off the room the room perfectly dark and I enjoyed the most amazing sleep on a great sized bed which was very very comfortable. And now i'm feeling super energised and ready to begin the long journey home. And the best thing of all was I never even knew this place had existed. It's as if it appeared out of nowhere just for me to spend a special overnight in Glasgow."
