"Dishes were put away dirty. Kitchen dirty. No on-site restaurant. Good WI-FI. Front check in staff very professional-they did assign a wrong room. Understaffed."
"Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, pub downstairs was easy for cocktails, room was beautiful, steam shower was fantastic…they thought of everything for a wonderful stay! I look forward to another Crested Butte stay at Public House."

"The condo was very clean and comfortable. There was no humidifier and the light over the sink was out, but after calling the front desk they brought us a humidifier and fixed the light. The light over the stove top only worked on low. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. "

"The unit was very dated. It is also odd that you walk into the bedroom, having to go through it to the sitting area/kitchenette. Our room adjoins another room, and we heard their TV and chatting until they went to sleep. That was annoying. The location and staff were phenomenal "

One of the most beautiful CO mountain towns I have been to. Wildflowers were gorgeous and an abundance of beautiful mountains to look at. Downtown was safe and clean with a lot of food and shopping. Will be coming back!

In Crested Butte there are no chain restaurants, etc. No Star Bucks anywhere in this busy tourist town. Local eateries are very good, but small, so make reservations early afternoon to get a good table.

I'm amazed there even IS an off-season here. The mountains are so beautiful, and are so year-round, that even if you're not into skiing you have tons of reasons to come out there.

I love that it is more casual and less snooty than many of the major Colorado ski resorts.

Crested Butte is a fantastic small town and known for it's wildflowers. I hear the week of 4th of July is it's busiest and that seemed to be the case.

Such a beautiful, laid back place to snowboard with your family and eat good pizza afterwards.
"Hotel older but very pleasant. Clean and very quiet. Bed comfortable. Our host at front desk very friendly and quite nice - thank you. The breakfast there was VERY nice. A lot of options to appeal to most. Gathering room clean - real china, coffee cups and silverware. Enjoyable. One of the better (included) breakfasts we have had recently (and we are not picky people!). "
"The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Another great perk is the free bus service into town, which runs regularly and makes exploring downtown Crested Butte hassle-free. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient mountain getaway!"
"We enjoyed the property being furnished with utensils, pots, pans etc, so we could cook instead of going out for every meal. The porch was really big and the view was great! "
"This place was so nice to stay in and was immaculately clean! They thought of so many little things (automatic blinds, basic bathroom/shower amenities, extra blankets, smart thermostat control). Very comfortable and nice to stay in. 5/5 for loft! We would definitely stay here again.
Only thing we did not love about the stay… their actual Public House restaurant that is below the loft- truly was such a chaotic restaurant experience in pretty much every aspect."
