"Everything is as amazing! The staff was so helpful and so nice (All of them)! Julie at the front desk was awesome. My beach shuttle driver, Roger, was absolutely fantastic. The front does young lady who let me into the gym at 5am the wonderful lady in the morning for checkout! Definitely pet friendly! I thought it was nice they have a little shuttle to take you down to the beach and pick you up! It’s just down the road but saves you from having to pay for parking! I didn’t want to leave the area right away after check out and they offered to store my stuff while I went exploring even after checkout! I will definitely be back there for another stay in the future! "

"I originally booked an ocean view but was placed in a room with no ocean view. I can honestly say the rooftop access from the balcony was great. So no complaints!!!"

"The window shade in my room was stuck in the down position, so very little light in the room. Coffee machines were routinely not working, to a point where several guests complained in the mornings. The shower in my room, one for handicap, let water run all over the bathroom floor. Flooded the bathroom if one didn't put towels down to block it from running out. Poorly constructed, easy to fix, yet no one did. This will ruin the floor, walls, etc. if not addressed. A simple $20 fix now or a huge bill later, but no action from anyone!!! Could easily be a nice place, but inept leadership apparently. "

"This was the second time I’ve stayed here and for me it’s about affordable place to sleep as my adventures were all close by and I wasn’t in the room much. This room was better than last time and they have updated the fridges and microwaves. Staff was friendly and helpful and no major issues to worry about! "

"This Microtel has gone down quite a bit! I have been staying there for around 15 years off and on. When I officiate a College Softball Tournament in Gulf Shores I have always stayed there. Probably my last time this past weekend!"
