"The Plantation has false advertising. I paid extra for a beach view and received a dumpster parking lot view. The towels were in the toilet upon our arrival, closet doors off track unable to close. The glass on main shelf in the refrigerator was missing. No one came to get towels out of the toilet or try to give me better accommodations. Since I drove 6 hours to get there I was too tired to find and other arrangements after wasting an hour or more on the phone with manager(Justin). I didn’t get any sleep for the noise of people walking and running all night long above me. This was the worse condo I’ve ever stayed in. We are a military family that vacations 4-5 times a year. Justin promised to refund my money if I wanted to stay someplace else. I found another place to stay but have yet to get my refund that they promised to refund the same day Saturday 30 May 2026. It is June 5th and I still do not have my refund but was sent a message that it would take 15 days or more for my refund. Do not choose this place for any reason because you cannot trust Hosteeva or Expedia. I didn’t like sending a photo of myself just to stay at a place where I’ve paid and now you need a photo of me."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Plantation! We were there for less than a week and spent most of our time on the property either by the pool or on the beach. Pros: It was not very crowded when we went, parking was ample, and the property was very clean outside. Amenities in the room were great (dishwasher, tv access, balcony view of the sunrise, full size fridge). Cons: The listing mentioned “free parking” but it was not free and the bed was uncomfortable. "
