"The hotel was very nice, clean and pleasant with very accommodating staff who are very keen to help me if required. I was there on business so I managed to get a very good nights sleep every night. I was on the top floor and it was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The swimming pool sauna and Jacuzzi were an excellent addition that I used each night. Overall, a very nice experience"

The bar, and the outside seating area very comfortable and we enjoyed our drinks in the sunshine. Golf course, although we didn’t play looked in extremely good condition. A great break away. Could have stayed longer. "

I booked the deluxe family room although didn’t really know what I was getting due to the lack of pictures online on any website. I would definitely return."

"The hotel is a typical old pub, the staff lovely and welcoming. The stairways and walls are dated, but the rooms are tidy, clean, comfortable and cosy. The full breakfast was beautiful. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again. For your evening meal we went to the Caven Arms on the recommendation of the hotel/pub manager and that was delightful too. "
