A little oasis in the hustle and bustle of Colombo. Everything was fantastic- the food, the room and most of all the staff who were all so warm and welcoming. We were sorry to leave.

I very rarely leave reviews but Ishq was exceptional. If you are looking for an alternative to big, chain hotels this small, intimate property is perfect. Beautiful rooms and spaces with personal service. Food exceptional. Thanks Darshana.

Located just far enough out of Colombo to be quiet, yet can easily walk to Galle Face Green if you wish. The hotel is clean and staff are great. Plenty food and beverage options at reasonable prices or try Galle Road for street food. Take the free shuttle to the beach lounge for a swim in the sea or just relax on the sea front. The roof pool is busier than the beach lounge but still always room available. High Tea was very good and the Tides buffet was super.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic! Staff and service was excellent. Staff were attentive and anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Facilities were of a high standard and included everything we needed. The outdoor pool was exceptionally enjoyable. WiFi was excellent - both in the room and at the pool. It’s worth booking a club Horizon room as the lounge is worth every penny.

For a mere £84 we stayed in this lovely, comfortable hotel in Colombo. The friendliest welcome with a refreshing Popsicle followed by helpful advice about getting around the city. We didn't eat dinner there as that evening was a wonderful play procession just round the corner but breakfast was delicious. We hope to return for more than one night

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel.The staff were so attentive and smiled continually throughout our time there.We could not have asked for more.We also ate supper in the restaurant and believe that the meal was by far the best we had whilst in Sri Lanka.If / when we return to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay there again.

I've stayed at quite a few of the nicest hotels in Colombo over the past few years, both with my family and alone, and I'm really pleased I tried ITC this year. It's probably now my joint favourite alongside the Hilton Colombo Residences. It is superior to the Shangri-La (where the rooms are shoeboxes and the feeling is sterile) and Mt Lavinia (which seems too obsequious to a colonial past!). We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at Orion City Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and WiFi worked well. Hot water was plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant. The location was great for us- we were able to walk to the R Premadasa stadium.
