"There was a really bad staff sitting at the restaurant on Saturday September 5th during the day and the restaurant didn’t appear to be serving lunch or anything at that time. I just wanted to take a peek around and this employee (black male to be specific) showed some really bad attitude towards me asking me with a weird look and bad attitude if I was an employee; almost like I wasn’t supposed to be in that restaurant. I mentioned to the employee that I was just looking around and to make the conversation less awkward, I mentioned to the employee if breakfast is served at this restaurant and again with an attitude the employee mentioned to me to go look at the hours of breakfast served on the door of the restaurant like he was annoyed that I asked this question. This employee doesn’t deserve to work at this great hotel where the front desk and valet were absolutely amazing. I will make sure to share the attitude of this employee with my family and friends and hopefully they don’t see this employee next time They go there or I go there because of the bad attitude I encountered which made my great experience at the hotel a bit disappointing in the end."

"A little ways from downtown but very walkable location. About 20 minutes to the downtown waterfront, Gastown or the stadiums. False Creek Ferry access to Granville Island about 10 minutes walk. Location is across the street from St. Paul's hospital but we didn't find noise to be a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean and comfortable. This isn't a luxury stay but it's a fun vibe and a great place to base out of if planning to spend a lot of time out and about exploring. We loved Elysian for coffee and breakfast in the morning; great beans and small breakfast menu plus pastries; the raspberry almond croissant was phenomenal!"

"Position was fantastic. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Unfortunately our first night was disturbed by a faulty air conditioner clicking however the staff were very apologetic and quickly upgraded us to another room and had our luggage moved for us. The second night was a much restful and comfortable night. The beds were large and very comfortable in both rooms and included excellent amenities. Would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"The Fairmont Vancouver on W Georgia Street is in a beautiful old building. Everything about our stay was excellent! The room was very clean and comfortable. All staff were very prompt and helpful. Room service food came very quickly, and a was served on a rolling table with a white tablecloth and napkins. We highly recommend this hotel."
