"I don’t know what people were complaining about. The carpet is meant to look like the ocean. It’s an ocean theme hotel. It may need a little bit of updating in places, but overall really not much. We absolutely loved staying here. The staff was so friendly and nice and the room was unbelievably clean and I have high cleaning standards"

"Once again Pelican Pointe did not disappoint. The check in was quick, our room was ready before 3 pm and we were able to enjoy a full day at the beach. The room was spotless. Brand new fridge in the room. Bathroom was clean and shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided, which was great. There were beach chairs available to use during our stay. Beach towels were also provided in the room. Another great stay at a gem of a hotel."
