"The location is a bit further from the beach than I expected, but thats because I didn't realize there are 2 Howard Johnsons in Virginia Beach. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but overall we were pleased. It was clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, juice and breakfast snacks. Given the moderate price, I'd give a thumbs up and would book again. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Ambassadors Inn. The room was nice a the bed was comfy. Hot shower 🚿😁 and Air conditioner got the room very cool. Big refrigerator and good microwave. No breakfast though. Staff was super friendly. Close to Virginia Beach. (5 min) Drive. "

"The hotel is a bit dated but very clean ,The furniture was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good The pool was very nice ,and any contact with the staff was great. We were across the street from the board walk a two minute walk to the beach . There are plenty of food option with in walking distance! The area felt very safe, I have always felt that and we have been visiting for many years "

"Motel has a great spot in the town. They have only smoking rooms, should make it clear on the description, sink was clogged, floor was poorly cleaned, bathroom can have a deep clean too. If this can improve, the place can be a good spot to stay. "

"SUPERB! You can't beat the location! My bed was comfy. Plenty of parking. And HUGE room. I had a king suite, so I had a kitchen. Not fancy. If you want fancy, go elsewhere. This hotel is rundown, but the service is friendly and welcoming. I travel with service dog and had no problems. There was nefarious shady characters hanging around...they don't bother you.
