This place is a hidden gem

We came across this hotel by chance on Expedia's website, and immediately fell in love with the photos and wanted to go there. It didn't disappoint! We received a really warm welcome, and we were personally shown to our room. It was also the little touches like being given a welome glass of champagne and having a small bottle in the room as a souvenir as well. Excellent hotel, we wasn't expecting such a good hotel, the room was a lovely size with a queen size bed, table and chairs, a coffee making machine and also kettle, tea, coffee, milk and it's own little sink, a full size separate shower and also bath, a separate toilet, it was only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the centre depending on how quick you walk, but if you find it too much of a walk they have got a courtesy car which operates on certain nights of the week which will take you into the...

Clean and modern

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel impressed as soon as we walked through the doors with friendly staff and welcoming feel. Check in was smooth and the roon was fabulous. The air con made it a comfortable stay (it was 30+ degrees outside) and, even though it was on a main road, there was no traffic noise at all. Easy check in. Room very good size but basic amenities but a electric kettle was very welcome. Hotel fronts a main road but as our room was at the back it was very quiet. Limited forecourt parking but easy unrestricted street parking close by. Brilliant hotel

Hotel in a great location close to the cathedral. People on reception were extremely helpful. Great range of food at breakfast. Room has air conditioning also option to open a window.
