When we arrived we were allocated a room at the front (room 204?), it was quite noisy due to dogs barking. When we spoke to reception about it the following morning we were immediately moved room to a better room at the back (201) without any question or argument. The hotel is in a very narrow alleyway in Old Delhi, cars cannot get to the hotel but staff were very helpful carrying our bags to the taxi. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Namaste Hindustan. The location is excellent and very convenient for travellers. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is also a safe and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Delhi. Would definitely love to stay here again

This is the best budget hotel I have come across so far in my 10yrs of travel in some part of Europe,India and SE Asia. The best you can get for your hard earn money. This hotel offered a brilliant service from start to finish! I had amazing correspondence before my arrival with the manage Munna who helped organise a clothes delivery to the hotel for my arrival and made me feel welcome before I even got there! When checking in, I was greeted by all the staff in a very warm welcoming and friendly manner. A first class hotel and very good value for money! The staff are all extremely attentive and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The emails I sent beforehand to arrange the room and airport pick up were all handled quickly and professionally by friendly staff. Backpackers was great! The staff are really helpful and friendly including helping us book trains. The Delhi Belly food tour is an also good, a great way to explore the bazaars and alleys of old Delhi.

The Receptionist was particularly helpful: we told him what we would like to see and he made useful suggestions regarding how we could make the most of our stay. New hotel in excellent condition. Spacious well appointed room. Disappointing that the roof top terrace was too badly lit to have dinner. Location a bit tricky to find in an alley off the main bazar road, but worth the search. Very convenient for New Delhi railway station and for the shops and restaurants
