Loved the Dorp’s quirkiness and overall atmosphere. The rooms and bed very comfortable and well equipped. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great property. The entey road is a dirt road however at the property there was paved parking near the apartment. The apartment was spacious . It had netflix and prime . The kitchen had the basic cooking utensils and full sized fridge/freezer along with washing up liquid. Bathroom was a decent size and had towels included. They had cleaners come in regularly to deep clean the apartment

Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful. The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again.

Modern, clean, well equipped with spacious rooms. Friendly staff. On the more expensive side though. I chose the hotel because it was closest to a conference venue.

The hotel is about 20 minutes by uber from the town which was perfect. Right by the beach and also an excellent 30 minute walk along the beach to the nearest town and bars. There is also a good restaurant/bar about 5 minutes round the corner. The hotel itself was brilliant. We arrived early, hours before check-in, but the hotel were expecting us and made us feel very welcome, offering us a space to freshen up in before we ventured out to make the most of our one full day in Cape Town. Arrived earlier than the official check in time to be met by the friendliest hotel reception we have ever experienced! The reception area itself was stunning, great views over the beach and a relaxing bar to watch the sunsets. Everywhere was spotless, very modern and comfortable. Me and my wife stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even left rose petals and sparkling wine in the room for us. The hotel has a very classic and stylish feel and contrary to other reviews which state noise being a problem we had no issues at all.

We really enjoyed our stay with Zest, from lovely welcoming staff who greeted us with an ice cold drink when we were sweaty from a long plane ride, to a delicious breakfast, to a very comfortable room. The hotel is eco-conscious too so it's even better to know your stay is doing good by people and planet.

Lovely all round

There is no air-conditioning in either of the bedrooms only in the living room. Having AC in the bedroom would be a great improvement.
